Mystery Lameness

Lameness in your horse is such a frustrating and challenging thing to diagnose and correct. Whether it's from an injury, on/off lameness or mystery lameness that no one seems able to get to the bottom of.

Over the years of working with horses I have developed the ability to identify and help correct lameness issues.

It takes time, patience and a willingness to go the distance to correct the issues. It is very seldom corrected in one or two sessions as it has usually been developing over a long period of time.

As I work with your horse, I help remove the discomforts layer by layer (unwinding) and help the horse start to use their body in a more correct and balanced way. This in turn, reveals underpinning issues and compensations that eventually lead to the core issue. Once the core issue is identified, your horse has been on a journey of correcting their posture, balance, musculature and use of their body in such a way that the real issue can be properly addressed and corrected, if correctable. If not correctable, it can at least be worked with in such a way for your horse to have a comfortable, happy and healthy life.
